Instructions for Using SKUFF

How to use SKUFF

It’s Simple.  Just Clean Your Stuff and Apply Some SKUFF!

We tried to make SKUFF quick and easy to apply – a three step process for keeping your shoes clean and looking new.  The first step is cleaning your shoes of dirt and treatments like polish and silicone sprays using SKUFF Towels and/or rubbing alcohol and a rag.  The second step is applying SKUFF to shoes and accessories using the SKUFF Applicator tip and/or SKUFF Towels to smooth the finish out.  The third step is maintaining your SKUFF by cleaning and reapplying annually, monthly, or whenever you want.  Sound good?  Let’s dig in, shall we?

  • Step 1 – Prepare

  • Preparation
  • It is important to prepare shoes and leather goods before applying SKUFF. Leather goods in particular are finished with wax, polishes, and silicone treatments that can cause SKUFF to lose adhesion at the creases. You should make sure to prepare items thoroughly before applying SKUFF, and test on a small inconspicuous spot before fully applying. For best results, take the time to prepare shoes and leather accessories before applying. Hey! If you do it right, then you may not need to again as long as your shoes last!

  • (Optional) Step 3 – Maintain

  • Maintain SKUFF by Cleaning and Reapplying As Needed!
  • Touch ups are all about maintaining your SKUFF. When your SKUFF gets old or it starts to peel, just dissolve it with some isopropyl rubbing alcohol and reapply it to keep it looking new. Instead of getting your stuff dirty, get your SKUFF dirty. Instead of beating up your stuff, beat up your SKUFF. It can take it, and when it breaks down, take it off and put it back on for that new look again.
